I purchased these to use as nightstands. They are a excellent compliment to my transitional/modern bedroom makeover.

The positives: The wood is a warm espresso brown with an even finish and nice matte shine. The pieces look sturdy and well put together. I love the glass inset. It allows me to set a glass of water on my nightstand without worry of ring spots on the wood. The bottom shelf is great for decorating. I placed enthralling vases on mine to add color to my room. The tables look very enthralling and sleek in the room.

The negatives: The directions are horrible. I could supervene them but it wasn't an easy step-by-step process. Assembly is potential with one man but best with two. The drawer is Tiny. Just sufficient room for a paperback novel, an eyeglass case and maybe a few pens. This is Not a piece designed for storage. But it works.

Overall I'd propose this piece as the positives far outweigh the negatives. I could see any uses for this table. nightstand, side table, accent table, etc. Enjoy!
